01 Jul Styled Shoot | Mediterranean Boho in Kelowna, BC
This week at Dreamy we are thrilled to announce our Mediterranean Boho styled shoot is being published in Rocky Mountain Bride – YAY!
Earlier this year, Lindsay from Boketto Photography got in touch with us about and extra DREAMY collaboration at Sanctuary Gardens in West Kelowna. We absolutely LOVE this venue and Lindsay’s vision of a Mediterranean boho inspired styled shoot – so of course we were in!
Our shoot begins with a handfasting ceremony. Under the open, lake-view, gazebo at Sanctuary Gardens, our couple bind hands with naturally dyed silk from Stella Wolfe in this ancient ritual. The handsome groom then serenades his new bride in a field of daffodils followed by a Mediterranean feast table and champagne toast inside the Rose Room at Sanctuary Gardens.
With a dusty blue, burnt orange, bright pink and yellow accents, we wanted bright spring colours with a hint of moody (just the way we like it). After months of thrifting and sourcing of unique pieces, artists and rentals we pulled this shoot together in April – just in time to catch the daffodils!
We had so much fun working with so many wedding creatives locally and internationally. This shoot features so much talent from gowns, to rings, ceramics to custom made macrame and invitations. Check out this amazing list of vendors below. Also, we don’t know if it was a coincidence that our shoot is being published on July 1st, 2018 – i.e. Canada’s 150th birthday, but it is, and we are pretty darn honoured and delighted to be selected for such a monumental date for publishing. Thank you Rocky Mountain Bride!
